350-Ton-Per-Hour River Pebble Sand Production Line: Repurposing Waste Stone to Boost Resource Regeneration
How should waste river pebbles found in tourist scenic areas be processed? In fact, the manufactured sand produced from processed river pebbles is an extremely important raw material; it serves as an excellent substitute for natural river sand and finds widespread application across various sectors, including highway construction, municipal engineering, general construction, and water conservancy projects.
Presented below is a proposed solution for a river pebble sand-making production line with an hourly output of 350 tons. Following an on-site inspection and analysis of the waste rock materials within the scenic area, it was determined that the raw material consists primarily of river pebbles with a particle size ranging from 35 to 55 mm and a Mohs hardness level between 5 and 7. Furthermore, the client specified the following finished product grades: 0–5 mm (premium grade), 5–10 mm (premium grade), 10–20 mm (premium grade), and 20–31.5 mm (premium grade). To address these specific requirements, the production line has been configured with a total of eight pieces of equipment: a ZWS1150 vibrating feeder, a new-generation high-efficiency MJ100 jaw crusher, an MC500X-220 single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher, two 2MF2470 double-deck vibrating screens, one 3MF2470 triple-deck vibrating screen, an MGB1422 hopper feeder, and an ML8400 vertical shaft impact crusher.

The raw river pebbles are fed uniformly by the ZWS1150 vibrating feeder into the MJ100 jaw crusher for primary crushing. The material resulting from this primary crushing stage then proceeds to the first stage of screening (utilizing two 2MF2470 vibrating screens). During this initial screening phase, the material is separated as follows: the 0–5 mm "standard grade" material is directed to a stockpile; material larger than 31.5 mm is fed into the MC500X cone crusher for secondary crushing, forming a closed-circuit loop; and material ranging from 5 to 31.5 mm is fed into the sand-making machine (the ML8400 vertical shaft impact crusher) for sand production and shaping. Finally, this material is conveyed to the second stage of screening (utilizing one 3MF2470 vibrating screen) to be sorted into the final premium-grade products: 0–5 mm, 5–10 mm, 10–20 mm, and 20–31.5 mm. The entire production line is equipped with an intelligent PLC central control system, featuring a high degree of automation that reduces labor costs while ensuring simple and rapid operation.
