The project was awarded to Anqing Qingyuan Mineral Resources Development Co., Ltd. (a state-owned enterprise) with a bid of 1.295 billion yuan, and the total investment is 3.23 billion yuan. The project is expected to be completed and operational by the end of 2024, ensuring a stable supply of sand and gravel for the local region and surrounding areas.

According to reports, the mining area of the project covers approximately 1.2 square kilometers, with recoverable reserves of about 250 million tons and an annual production capacity of 9.8 million tons. The mine's lifespan will be 27 years. The contractor for this large-scale project is China Railway 23rd Bureau Group (the leading company in the consortium), which won the tender with a bid of 13.202 billion yuan. The project will include various engineering works, including the construction of an environmentally friendly mine, flood control and drainage systems, ore processing systems, and external transportation roads, aimed at the efficient use of mineral resources and harmonious coexistence with the environment.
