So, what are the standards for high-quality manufactured sand and construction sand in my country?

According to Chinese standards for construction sand (for reference only), sand mainly refers to rock fragments with a particle size smaller than 5mm. These fragments may be formed and accumulated naturally in lakes, seas, rivers, and mountains, or they may be processed by mining machinery, with a particle size less than 4.75mm. The fineness of the sand is classified into four grades based on the fineness modulus:

Coarse sand: fineness modulus between 3.7 and 3.1, average particle size greater than 0.5mm;

Medium sand: fineness modulus between 3.0 and 2.3, average particle size between 0.5 and 0.35mm;

Fine sand: fineness modulus from 2.2 to 1.6, average particle size between 0.35 and 0.25mm;

Extra-fine sand: the smallest fineness modulus, from 1.5 to 0.7, average particle size less than 0.25mm.

Of course, in addition to particle size and specifications, various industries also have strict requirements for other indicators of sand, such as the content of flaky and elongated particles, clay content, mud content, stone powder content, and durability. Therefore, when configuring a production line, we need to clarify these requirements in advance to ensure that the final product meets both the standards and market demands.
