Recently, several key projects in Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, have made new progress. Among them is the groundbreaking ceremony for the flux dolomite mining project in Jiangjuntun area by Shaoguan Mining Investment Baotie Mining Co., Ltd., and the Hongweikeng limestone mining project of Baojiu (Shaoguan) New Materials Co., Ltd. is expected to begin trial operation by the end of December this year.

Flux Dolomite Mining Project in Jiangjuntun Southern Mining Area

The flux dolomite mining project in the Jiangjuntun Southern Mining Area of Shaoguan Mining Investment Baotie Mining Co., Ltd. is located in Lunti Village, Telong Town, Wengyuan County. This project is a key provincial and municipal project jointly invested by Zhongnan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. and Shaoguan Industrial and Trade Development Group Co., Ltd., with a total investment of approximately 458 million yuan. The project's recoverable reserves amount to 39.9833 million tons, and the planned annual production capacity is 3 million tons, including 930,000 tons of dolomite for flux and 2.07 million tons of limestone for construction aggregate. After the project is put into operation, it will effectively guarantee a stable supply of flux ore for Zhongnan Mining's production and will contribute to local economic and social development.

The project manager stated that construction is only the first step. Further work will be carried out in accordance with the requirements of high-quality development, creating a safe, environmentally friendly, sustainable, and energy-saving intelligent mine, striving to make the project an example of harmonious and mutually beneficial cooperation between the mine and local authorities.

The Hongweikeng limestone mining project, implemented by Baojiu (Shaoguan) New Materials Co., Ltd., is located in Longgui Town. Infrastructure construction is currently underway, and the trial operation of the production line is scheduled for the end of December this year. The total investment in the project is 1.26 billion yuan, the reserves are approximately 139 million tons, and the land lease term is 24.5 years. After the completion of the project, the expected annual production volume will be 5.5 million tons, including 2.5 million tons of flux dolomite, 1.6 million tons of flux limestone, and 1.4 million tons of construction limestone, generating more than 20 million yuan in annual tax revenue.

The project manager stated that the project's construction aligns with the development concept of "clean waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" and implements the principle of "enhancing the value of Shaoguan's mineral resources and creating an environmentally friendly development model for the city." The project aims to find a technically feasible, economically sound, high-quality, and efficient path for the development of the mining industry to contribute to the high-quality development of Shaoguan.
