Baisha Fishery Limestone Mine, Guiping City Building a Green Mine, Safeguarding Green Waters and Lush Mountains
The Baisha Fishery Limestone Mine for Construction Use in Guiping City recently successfully passed expert acceptance, marking the official establishment of Guiping City's first autonomous-region-level "Green Mine." This Green Mine has a projected mining lifespan of nine years, covers a mining area of 0.4945 square kilometers, and boasts an annual production capacity reaching up to 3 million tons.

Since the inception of the mine, the Guiping City Bureau of Natural Resources has closely monitored its construction progress, actively overseeing and facilitating the advancement of various tasks. Significant achievements have been realized across multiple fronts, including site infrastructure development, road paving, landscaping projects, and environmental remediation. Consequently, the mine's extraction methods, production processes, and ecological environment have all undergone substantial improvements.
In the second half of 2023, the Guiping City Bureau of Natural Resources invited experts from organizations such as the Guangxi Geological Survey Institute and the Guangxi Sixth Geological Team to conduct an on-site inspection of the Baisha Fishery Green Mine's construction status. Through on-site observations, document reviews, and consultative discussions, the experts gained a comprehensive understanding of the mine's development. They offered numerous valuable suggestions and recommendations, providing robust support for the continued construction and enhancement of the Green Mine.
The Guiping City Bureau of Natural Resources has stated that it will continue to prioritize Green Mine construction and the restoration of mining-related geological environments. By fully upholding the philosophy that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets," the Bureau is committed to diligently executing every task, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of Guiping City.
