The sand and gravel production line consists of four major systems: the feeding system, the crushing and sand-making system, the screening system, and the sorting system. The main process flow is as follows:

I. Pre-processing

The primary task of this stage is to use hammering to pre-crush large chunks of raw aggregate material. During this process, foreign objects unsuitable for further crushing—such as scrap wood and plastic—are screened out and removed.

II. Crushing and Sand Making

First, a jaw crusher is used for primary crushing. A vibrating feeder ensures that the raw material is fed into the crusher uniformly. Inside the jaw crusher, the movement of the jaw plates breaks down large chunks of aggregate into smaller particles. After primary crushing, the material is transported via conveyor equipment to a temporary storage area.

Next, a sand-making and shaping machine is used to further fine-crush and shape the material. After processing by the sand-making machine, the aggregate achieves a more uniform particle size, meeting the requirements for production or construction.

III. Primary Screening

A circular vibrating screen is used to process the aggregate after primary crushing. This equipment separates the aggregate into two main fractions: 0–40 mm lumps and fines smaller than 5 mm.

1. 0-40mm Aggregate: After screening, the portion of this coarse aggregate ranging in size from 5-40mm is collected. These aggregates can be directly used for producing standard C15-C20 concrete.

2. Crushed Material Under 5mm: This smaller portion of aggregate is conveyed to a holding pile for processing in the next stage.

IV. Secondary Crushing and Screening

Secondary crushing can be performed using a ball mill to further crush the fine aggregates. Secondary screening separates the crushed aggregates into high-quality recycled aggregates ranging from 5–20 mm, suitable for the production of C25–C30 concrete. Tertiary screening separates high-quality recycled fine aggregates ranging from 0.15–5 mm and ultra-fine powder particles smaller than 0.15 mm.
