Shibang company helped modernize and improve the crushing technology at the Hami magnetite mine in Xinjiang, reducing production costs on the production line.
The iron content in the project's ore is 7-8%. In 2014, the iron ore market declined. To reduce production costs and increase economic efficiency, the client approached Shibang, requesting a well-founded plan for technical modernization. After a thorough analysis of the existing crushing process and equipment, Shibang recommended that the client replace the outdated spring cone crusher with a multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher (HPT). This would reduce the fineness of the raw material for grinding, as well as reduce wear and maintenance costs, thereby lowering the overall cost of the production line.

After the modernization, the production effect was very significant. The fineness of the crushed ore decreased from -14 mm to -8 mm, which significantly increased grinding efficiency and reduced overall production costs, leading to a significant increase in economic benefits for the client.
