
The iron ore crushing and beneficiation plant in Benxi city, Liaoning province, with an annual production capacity of 13 million tons, is undergoing modernization work.
The client's existing old-model φ1650 cone crusher suffered from insufficient productivity and a high circulating load, making it difficult to meet the annual target of processing 13 million tons of iron ore. To address this problem, the client chose SBM HPT300 and HPT500 multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crushers for the modernization and reconstruction of the fine crushing plant. These two new crushers will significantly increase production efficiency and reduce the circulating load, thus meeting the client's high productivity requirements and ensuring the achievement of the planned annual volume of iron ore processing.

Comparative tests showed that the SBM HPT crushers significantly increased productivity, reaching 1.9 times that of the original model. The particle size distribution also improved significantly, demonstrating outstanding modernization results. Currently, the production line operates efficiently and continuously. SBM HPT multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crushers are characterized by high stability, low failure rates, and low maintenance costs, effectively ensuring the fulfillment of the task of producing iron ore concentrate.
