Configuration scheme and equipment selection for a 200 tons/hour lithium ore crushing production line.
In a magnetite ore crushing and beneficiation project in Inner Mongolia, the client faced problems with mismatched process design in their production line, resulting in low efficiency and substandard capacity in the three-stage crushing operation. Furthermore, the existing PE jaw crusher and cone crusher equipment experienced frequent breakdowns, and after-sales service was inadequate, severely impacting the continuity and stability of production. Therefore, the client sought technical support from SBM (Shanghai Shibang Machinery Co., Ltd.) to conduct a technical diagnosis and upgrade of the existing production line.

Technical Transformation Plan
After on-site inspection of the production site, SBM's technical engineers proposed a targeted system upgrade plan:
1. Replacement of Coarse Crushing Equipment: The existing PE jaw crusher was replaced with a C6X series V-cavity jaw crusher, solving the "material jamming" problem in the coarse crushing stage and increasing crushing efficiency by more than 20%.
2. Optimization of Medium Crushing Equipment: The old cone crusher was replaced with an HST single-cylinder hydraulic high-efficiency cone crusher, improving the crushing ratio in the medium crushing stage, reducing the pressure on fine crushing and screening operations, optimizing the crushing ratio distribution of the production line, and overall improving the crushing efficiency and capacity of the production line.

Project Results
After the technical transformation, the production line showed significant improvements in all aspects, and the client was very satisfied. Based on this success, the client further collaborated with SBM to build multiple iron ore crushing production lines in Baotou and Bayannur, with annual outputs of 2.5 million tons, 6 million tons, and 3.5 million tons respectively. The successful implementation of these new projects further validated the effectiveness of the technical transformation in improving production efficiency and stability.
Case Summary
Through technical transformation, the 12 million-ton annual capacity iron ore processing project in Inner Mongolia significantly improved production efficiency and stability, solved multiple technical problems of the original production line, and achieved the expected production targets. SBM's professional technical support and customized solutions in the project were highly recognized by the client, laying the foundation for future collaborations.
