Nigeria possesses abundant tin ore resources, mostly distributed in shallow alluvial deposits with simple mineral composition. Small-scale tin ore processing relies heavily on low-cost gravity separation technology. A 180TPH tin ore dressing line was built to extract tin concentrate without chemical flotation reagents.
Project Overview
Location: Jos, Nigeria
Material: Alluvial tin ore with low mud content
Capacity: 180TPH
Process: Washing → screening → jigging separation → shaking table concentration
Raw ore firstly enters the washing drum to remove surface soil and impurities. After screening, qualified fine particles flow into jig separators for rough separation. Heavy tin minerals are settled while gangue flows away. Concentrated tin materials are further purified by multi-group shaking tables to improve tin grade.
The whole production line uses water circulation system, with zero chemical addition and low operation cost. Local workers can complete daily operation after simple training. Wearing parts are durable and easy to replace under African harsh working conditions.

After stable operation, the tin concentrate grade reaches 65% above, and the overall mineral recovery rate exceeds 84%. The simple flow chart greatly reduces investment threshold for local small mineral investors.
